It's November, and wowww, time really does fly by. I'm thankful for that, somehow... :) Things get a little tough every now and then. The path I've chosen to embark on is certainly not easy. It's an adventure and something you can't always predict. But I'm hanging in there with the people who believe in me. I miss the boy and his presence back home. It feels like the sunshine that I really need now and the strength that will push me through the obstacles. Some days it's hard to believe in what I do, but some days I'm on fire.
On a lighthearted note, here's another interesting cafe we checked out (wayyy long ago). Chye Seng Huat Hardware Store didn't really strike us as much because... well, the name! But that is one of their biggest selling point. Unpretentious name from the 90s make for a great hangout cafe. Their speciality is the cold brew (see picture below). It comes in a cough medicine like bottle! Way to go for "packaging"!
We checked it out on a weekday afternoon, after one of Lace & Ebony's shoots, and it still was pretty occupied for a place that's quite hard to get to! We decided to settle for brunch because he knows I'll miss having all our brunch dates with him (Aww..).
We've ordered the Pancakes, and the French Toast. I personally prefer the Pancakes over French Toast because the French Toast can get a little gelat after a while. But they were generous with their portions, a huge plus point! Hee.
