Etude House Magic Any Cushion Review Part I

Hello from TOKYO! :)

Updates have been lagging on my dear blog because of the overwhelming work I had to settle before flying off, but I try to keep it up on Instagram with more on the go updates! Follow me at @littlemissann ;)

I love how Etude House makes it a point to constantly revolutionise its products, and its extensive product range is always changing and updating to be better.

Magic Any Cushion: Etude House's star product is a new addition to my make-up routine. I've been using it every day since I've received it, and can immediately see its effects for myself! I'm in love ever since and I can't live without it now, really.

Magic Any Cushion is a cushion base that is customised to your skin tone. It tones up your skin magically (really, really, magically. I have no idea how it does it!).

With a 6 in 1 multi functional formula including skin brightening, tone correction, sunscreen, cooling moisture, whitening, wrinkle care, it's an all in one formula to ensure that you're all set for the day!

Etude House really puts in the most effort in the design of their products. Don't these look like little macarons? :))

Just like a BB cushion, Magic Any Cushion uses the same technology but with a revolutionary color tint to make you look a lot healthier, and brighter with a few light pats on your face.

Magic Pink - Smooth out your pale skin into a healthy and vibrant skin
Magic Mint - Hide your blemishes and minimize redness into toned up smooth skin
Magic Peach - Brighten up your dull skin into natural toned up skin

Magic Peach is my personal favourite, suiting my moderately tanned skin like a veil! Here's me with only the Magic Any Cushion on the right side of the picture. Cringing at how I look in the picture, but I must must show you how it worked on me. There's no need to dab a lot of product, because it'll make me really fair (woes of a fair-medium skin tone), but just a light touch of Magic Any Cushion all over your face will make it glow. I left all the blemishes there, and no filter/touch-up whatsover.

Another picture with Magic Any Cushion in Magic Peach all over my face. I don't have flawless skin, so I'll still need another layer of light foundation. Credits to the wonderful sunlight & the Magic Any Cushion, that made my skin look heaps better than it actually is, haha!

Snapped these few pictures before heading out to the Etude House Event with Keline!
We were slightly late and we missed the make-up demo session, but we had a nice walk at the Dhoby Ghaut's colorful and princessy themed Etude House store.

So so in love with BB cushions because they work for me! I need something that I can apply quickly and without the crazy thick texture on my face! It makes me feel uncomfortable, really. BB cushions are light, and natural looking, and they give me a comfortable medium coverage. This can be applied after the Magic Any Cushion.

The Pinks are in! At least for me. Soooo tempted to snag these off the shelves.
The Etude House lipsticks I own are one of my favourites! ;)
They have everything from glossy textures to matte, to balms and lipstains!

Their nail polish collection... gosh, just look at that rainbow of colors!

I'll be doing up a make-up look in my second review of the Magic Any Cushion in my next post, and how I incorporate it into my every day look to create a glowing look that brightens you up. Really helps when I'm overworked or tired, and my skin turns dull and lifeless, hehe, so yes, it definitely has to be in my make-up routine now!

Magic Any Cushion now retails at all Etude House Singapore stores for $29.

A breather for the sane

Phew, I've just ended one cycle of madness! Work on Lace & Ebony, work for my usual events, spending as much time with my family & G before they embarked on their individual holidays, etc etc. I barely had time to do a proper entry let alone keep up with the pace of all the events happening around me.

This weekend is finally some time to catch up on everything properly. Proper rest & finding my sanity. Thankful, really. Rest does wonders for an ailing body, always remember that!

Work hard, play hard, and rest well.

Here's a feature on two Lace & Ebony outfits that I've picked out to wear recently. You'll catch me a lot more on Instagram, I promise. That is the sole social media platform I am most frequently on, teehee. I get what it means to be a busy working woman and I am lapping up every moment of it ;)

G is away in Japan for his awesome grad-trippin' and I am green with envy from the pictures he sends me!
The nature, the serenity that I want to so badly embrace.
Can't wait to reunite with him again in about a week! :) :) :)

Just look at this view?? It is AMAZING I don't even know where to begin.
I want to surround myself with sceneries like these and zen out from the buzz of city life.

But till then, it is high time to work my ass off!
