Etude House Magic Any Cushion Review Part II

Hello! I'm back with Part II of my Etude House Magic Any Cushion review! Like I mentioned in the previous post, the Magic Any Cushion is now an integral part of my make-up routine and I'm happy to show you how I werk it ;)

On a clean & bare face, dab a little of the Magic Any Cushion in Peach. Peach is my chosen color because it matches my face color and flatters me best. Fair-Medium skin tones like mine should go for Peach, whereas Fair ladies should chose Pink. Green should only be applied on red spots/area.

I use my Magic Any Cushion very sparingly on my face. A little goes a long way, and too much would make you look fair!

The Magic Any Cushion in Peach is applied all over my face as a base.

After that, I'll dap a little bit of Green on red spots & on the sides and bottom of my nose, where it is a little reddish too.

And Pink under the eye area to brighten it up a little more. Pink has a slight white tinge to it and it's the best color to highlight your cheekbones/under-eye area.

After the color correction steps with all three colors, I apply another light layer of bb cushion as my foundation. The Magic Any Cushion only color corrects and doesn't help to conceal much. Dabbing everything lightly also helps your foundation to appear light and natural, just the way I like it!

I don't know about you but I really like my foundation light! In our humid (& terrible) summer all round weather, applying too much foundation only clogs our pores and when it starts to melt when we sweat... ugh, that feeling is horrible!

Swipe on some blusher (I love to switch between Bobbi Brown's or Benefit's Rockteur), and some lipstick to add some color. I look really pale without lipstick so I'll always like to have some color.

Ta-da, my complete look! :) This is my every day go-to look that's both natural and easy to apply. The entire application can take less than 15 minutes! Of course, for an easy one-step color base application, I'd solely use Peach! :)

Here's a color swatch of the three colors (it looks slightly faded here though, sorry!) I applied the color liberally on my arm so you can see the color, and of course you should never dab this much on one part of your face to avoid looking white!

The color differences between Pink & Peach isn't very obvious in this picture but you should head down to any Etude House store to swatch it for yourself against your face to see which color suits you best! Koreans love the Pink for the perfect fair K- effect! :P

This is after smoothening out the color. Peach really blends into my arm's color.

Here's a better color swatch for your reference! :)

I must say, this is by far one of my favourite Etude House product. Only because of how it does so well to brighten up my skin tone, making me look much well-rested (even if I'm not), hehe! My cheat trick, really!

Go test for yourself the brand new Etude House's star product, available at all Etude House's store.
The Magic Any Cushion retails for S$29.

(P.S: This entry was written and shot while I'm suffering from a 38 deg fever, so do pardon me if it's lacking in any way! :( )
