Ardor

We did a feature with Zoe Raymond this collection, and the Montany Embossed Dress in both White & Black are very well received! :D Have you seen the blog post yet? She took the dress in White and many others love the color as well! We've restocked both colors yesterday and it was all pending in a jiffy! We do have stocks for the Black though because of the revised sizing. I assure you that the quality and fabric is still the same! The restocks however fits a UK 6 - 8 best! I would say it's a more fitting cut for a UK 8 (fits me to a T!), and I love it better this way because of the way the pleated bottom works. G thinks the restocked cut is better too heehee. Shall try & see if I can get a shot of me in it later.

Something's coming up in the pipeline for Lace & Ebony, and the clues are that it'll be more accessible being in the 'interchange' of the North-South, North-East and Circle lines! Teehee! :D But for now, there's great news to be shared! We all love sales, and especially for girls whose weakness is shopping, you'd love to hear this! FirstDay at FEP is having a major clearance sale at 30% off!! We are participating in this ALL-MUST-GO clearance sale at amazing discounts off with 35 pieces up on sale! Sooo exciting because it's the first for L&E to have such a mega sale, hehh. It'll be running from 1st Oct - 12th Oct, so be there earlier to catch the better stuff (as always). ;)

Convocation: The end of a chapter and a start of another.

Hey there! The last week has been absolutely crazy. I've been rushing around, trying to squeeze in time for everything and everyone. G's flying off in 4 days, and I've been flooding my twitter with sad messages (I'm sorry, but bear with me, it's the only place i rant to). This has been especially tough on me and us because this is not something I'm entirely comfortable with. But we are both trying and it's the effort that makes the difference and keeps it going. It's not easy...

Last Wednesday marked the official closure of my studying days. It's finally over! It's not something I look forward to, but it's a new chapter in my life I'm moving on to. It's exciting, but also more taxing. No wonder adults would give anything to go back to school days. Hehe.

It has got to be the most entertaining convocation I've ever attended! Being in an Arts school rocks! We have people doing daring stunts and dance moves on stage. Things that an ordinary student wouldn't even dare to. Kudos to their bravery.

The reception and the ambience wasn't that bad at all too. We had a jazz band which G absolutely adored. Which explains the pictures below, hehe. Soothing and classy, I like! :)

Pictures with my family, extended family, and my love. It's so heartwarming to know that they're proud of me. I'm the first (and oldest) of the grandchildren to get a degree, so it's kinda like a proud and happy occasion for everyone too! My parents especially. You can tell that my mom's pretty proud when she demands pictures in my gown indoors, outdoors, and everywhere else. Hahaha. Once in a lifetime moments are to be treasured!

It's time to work harder than ever to show my family and everyone who's been supporting me, that they would not regret trusting in my decisions.

Brunch are for lazy people like me!

Happy Friday!

Well the weekends are nearing so time for a weekend brunch? :) Here's two fab brunch places I've recently checked out and love! We both love the idea of lazy mornings, and turning lunch into brunch, and especially on a weekend, this feels even more meaningful! There has been many cafes offering brunch items on their menus, but sadly, my friends have been giving feedback on some cafes not hitting the mark / living up to the hype... but most times, we've got to try for ourselves because not everything sits well with everyone. We've got our own subjective preferences, and most places don't score with every dish on their menu. So yes, got to try them for yourselves!

First up, G and I checked out Club Street Social on a fine Saturday afternoon. I'd recommend reservations, but thankfully for us, after a short wait, we've got tables. It seemed to be pretty full though! I guess everyone's probably heard about Club Street Social from the influential bloggers (that's how I learn about most places too heehee!), and I love the interior! Reminds me so much of Manhattan and I miss it terribly :(

G ordered Bacon & Egg Panini and I settled for the Truffle Egg Toast. We love both dishes, and I love my Truffle Egg Toast especially! It totally hit the spot with the truffle taste, egg, cheese and bread. Everything went so well together, gosh!!

Greedy us went for the dessert as well. Nutella Bread Pudding. How to resist??? :D

I found the dessert pretty good. Not "wow", but decent and worth a try!!

Hahahaha doing a little *twirl* for G :P

__________

On another weekend, we headed to somewhere near us, in the East! So glad for such brunch places in the East if not everything else is pretty far in town. Chock Full of Beans

He ordered the Portobello with Poached Eggs, and I went for Smoked Salmon with Poached Eggs. They have cooler dish names but I forgot! :(

Our breakfast was pretty decent, and a brunch place that you should try if you're craving for brunches. It isn't exceptionally exciting, but to me, it's like good ol' brunch (if you get what I mean)! I heard their coffee art is amazing, so do try their coffee when you're there!

I love the Jacquin Floral Peplum Top!! Flew off the selves and on the online store. I know you can't quite see much of the design here but it's all over my Facebook and Instagram. Lace & Ebony's launching a similar cut but different fabric pattern very soon! I kept that piece as well. What to doooo... the cut is too fantastic for me to say no! :P

Quintessence

Preview of Wednesday's launch! This collection we're bringing you lots of solid colors on rompers, dresses & blazers. I LOVE SO MANY ITEMS IN THIS COLLECTION! I kept about 3 pieces? Haha. Too pretty to resist not keeping any! There's also a reversible dress (Red/Black), and I love how versatile it is, PLUS, the fit is pretty good too! I don't have a perfect figure, but look, it doesn't look so bad from the pictures doesn't it.

Remember, WEDNESDAY, 10pm! Check out Lace & Ebony's Facebook on more details on their Maybelline Like & Share giveaway! :)

Here's one of my favourite places to have tea! TWG needs no introduction. It can be easily spotted in Ion, and very recently, MBS as well. It was only recently that I've gone down to try their tea set, and I must say, I loved it to bits. The service was impeccable. The tea, food and ambience was great. It really provided a wonderful environment for one to just sit, chill with friends and relax. I sooo wanna head back again!!
