I was so thrilled to receive my own set of Trove, with much thanks to the lovely Camy from VanityTrove! LOOK AT ALL THE GOODIES INSIDE! So pleasedddd! I shall introduce them in a bit but here's some professional studio looking shots haha! This is April's edition by the way! Which Lace & Ebony is giving out in April (Want to win it? This has got to be my favourite. Undereye concealer! Best for students who stay up late to rush assignments or to mug! Or just for people like me who use the laptops / computers a lot!

I love the way VanityTrove puts together their beauty mix each month! It's like, they know exactly what we want and need! What's inside April's Troves? They have a hair moisturiser (in Singapore's terrible weather, you'd definitely need one to protect your hair!), a wonderful smelling soap, the undereye concealer, a lip plumper, false eyelashes, and a spa voucher!!! :D 

My eyebags are atrocious and I've never actually used something that's specially for the undereye, so this is a brilliant sample for me to try! It also works well on blemishes!

I love the smell of this soap! I think it's peppermint? I don't know... not that good with smells! But it looks too good to be used, hahaha. I shall let it make my room smell good for the moment! 

A Masego Spa voucher that comes with a spa polish for you to try the kind of products that they will be using on you. Decadent! It's a pity the spa is at the other end of Singapore, if not I'll be the first to rush there!

Everyone knows how much I love false eyelashes. It really helps to brighten up my eyes (horrible hidden eyelids!). Plus, the lip plumper that comes in a versatile neutral shade. A little pinkish but it goes on perfectly! By the way, there's always a mirror attached on the lip gloss, so you can apply it effortlessly anytime anywhere! How thoughtful.

The Style Aromatherapy is actually a product from Israel! I love how it smells!!

I think the concealer covered my eyebags brilliantly! Well don't look at the smiling pictures, it accentuates it, haha!! In love with my new products and I can't wait to see what else VanityTrove has in store for us in the coming months!

There is none like You

HELLOHELLO! I'm back from a hiatus and I'm happy to announce that I've graduated (not officially) from that (highly) education(al) institution (if you know what I mean). Liberated and freed from all pain, slow torture, and meaningless lessons. I am a much happier and light-hearted girl now :)

After everything ended, I felt really disheartened because it didn't end on a good note. But thanks to today's mass, pouring out my heart's burdens and restlessness took a whole lot of weight off me, and I'm really thankful for that. It was something that not even talking to anyone around me could help... Of course, there is still some fear in the uncertainty of the future. But that is something that tomorrow will take care. I should stop being a worrywart!! 

I have sooooo many overdued blog posts and pictures I've yet to put up, so bear with me for a bit. These are already up on my Facebook, so heh, you might have already seen it! :)

I'd say it's pretty worth your buck. It's not very expensive for a Japanese buffet, and of course for such a price, you shouldn't expect premium items. But if you're craving for some sushi, this is the place to go! :)

I really love the last shot taken by G. His photography skills have improved tremendously and everyone is complimenting on how great LE's pictures look and really, it's all thanks to him :) I really need to start practising on my skills too, but tsk, I lack the patience in reading up on what to do but I would rather practice and learn hands-on, hee!! 

Fat boys with the girls of OSG! :D A typical American junk food establishment. Totally prepping my stomach for NYC :P The food there isn't too bad! I like my burger because I could customise it with toppings and the fillings that I like... so yeah, wasn't as bad as the reviews on HGW made them out to be. The service there was atrocious though :<

Breakfast at Hummerstons

Nothing like posting brunch pictures on a Good Friday :) I love brunches! OSG finally has a brunch outing together, and thanks to Deborah's recommendations, we decided to head to Hummerstons at Robertson Quay. The cafe is hidden in an obscure area, but nothing like hunting down a good place to work up an appetite!

The food was good and priced at a usual brunch price I guess? I tried the tortillas and scrambled eggs set, and it wasn't too bad. Personally I don't fancy mexican sauces with my breakfast, but it's definitely a unique brunch item. The bread and butter pudding was good!! :)
