"If you say you wish to vote opposition in to get more "voices" into the parliament, fine.
But just remember you are playing a very dangerous game here. 82 out of 87 seats are contested. Nobody can tell how many seats the PAP will win tomorrow. But judging from the overall sentiment, I'd say about 50% of people are strongly pro-opposition.
Because they are very unhappy with PAP. Because they want a change. And they don't really know what they will get with the opposition but they feel that their lives are so bad now that ANYTHING will be better than this. Let me tell you these people just don't know how good they've got it.
Another 30% perhaps want more voices in the parliament. Or among these are people who take voting lightly, thinking they'd support the underdog just because "Hiyah other people will still vote for PAP one lah".
If tomorrow PAP is, god forbid, a minority... And we form a coalition government (which has proven to almost never work), our country is doomed. And I know deep down, most Singaporeans still want PAP governing us.
You want more voices in the government?
But we also need more voices to say 'Hey, I still want PAP to rule leh. I vote them'. And right now that voice is SMALL.
So please, just remember your vote counts!!"

I hear her and entirely understand what she is trying to say. I know of people who purely want to vote the opposition in because they want more voices in the government, and not to support any form of coalition government. Maybe they are taking it lightly. It frustrates me because they think that their vote, only counts in the area of their contested ward, which of course only works in a close-minded view, yes. But it will affect Singapore as a whole to have too many opposition parties in the government. (Note: too many) If everyone thinks the same way of purely wanting some voices in the government and not to support opposition parties taking over the government; if all these youths stand for a weighty percentage in each ward; it's a Good Game. Everyone will count on some invisible group of people to back the PAP up.
These group of people are ever so willing to toy with the future of Singapore for the sake of change, and want to see the worst of parliament debates over issues between all the opposition parties and PAP. More voices, more disagreement, more chaos. Do you really think whatever they promised can then be delivered?
Have you tried working with 19 people for a project?! Well I have. Even as it is divided into 3 main groups, and each group stands for its own specific area to work on, they must each fight for their "rights" in terms of expressing their views and contributing to this idea/project as a whole. Some groups may be weak, and some may be fierce and forceful, but at the end of it all, too many voices resulted in constant displeasure. It resulted in a failed attempt to work together for the many various and obvious reasons I am lazy to list.

Once again, I am not against a few opposition voices in the government. They do need a check and balance. No one is right all the time. Humans need to get a objective view, and be corrected sometimes. My point is, if everyone thinks the same way of wanting some opposition voices, and votes for the opposition, what do we have left? This is a viable outcome of the GE 2011, and I really hope everyone would take into consideration of every aspect of each party before deciding who to vote for.
Cliche, but seriously, Vote Wisely.
